Why Apulia for your event

Lecce, its main town, also known as the Florence of the South, offers a wide variety of five and four star hotels and conference venues, mainly housed in historic palaces. The beautiful surroundings include unique places like Gallipoli, Otranto and the whitewashed Ostuni, so lively in summer, when they become a natural stage for fun and entertainment.

The whitewashed town has become popular for its landscape and golden beaches.

Venues: trulli and masserie

The region offers beautiful locations with stunning romantic settings for gala dinners, product launches or corporate events: perhaps the most famous are the trulli of Alberobello. They stand in rows like little white beehives reaching towards azure skies, with pinnacles or crosses and strange stone markers that are said to have magical significance.

Enjoy the Florence of the South, full of historic gems including the Roman amphitheatre, shopping on the main street and a superb dinner in a starred restaurant.

On a grander scale are the centuries-old fortified farmhouses called masserie, many of which have been restored as luxury hotels, often set among huge groves of ancient olive trees.

Food and wine experiences

In these places it is easy to organise activities: an olive oil tasting, with the chance to taste the exquisite olio nuovo (new oil) drizzled on fresh bread, or a cookery course in which you will learn how to make fresh pasta and focaccia.
